My mission is…

to restore health and vitality by inquiring into the body to understand and address the root cause of illness

    • Your body is an expression of your biography and it serves as a gateway to help you understand how you can heal.

    • Given the right knowledge and tools, you can recover and optimise your inherent health.

    • This is a journey of awakening; your symptoms can give you powerful insights that lead to deeper healing.

    • Treat you as a whole person, rather than as separate organ parts.

    • Work to address the underlying cause of your illness, rather than masking your symptoms.

    • Recognise that we are all individuals with unique needs, rather than applying a one-size-fits-all approach to disease and treatment.

 

The healing pyramid

This layered approach helps you to rebuild your health from the ground up, beginning with the building blocks of Functional Medicine, and adding more subtle healing practices and treatments to address all elements of your environment.

STAGE 4: RESOURCING

This is the most subtle level of healing in which you undertake practices which help you find your way back to the resource within; the most essential part of you that is anchored in wellness and is free of unhelpful conditioning. From here you can find stability in the midst of the ever-changing world, and build resilience to meet any challenge you encounter in the future.

STAGE 3: SELF-AWARENESS

Here you will begin to develop awareness of and sensitivity to your body state, and the physical and emotional patterns and triggers that cause your mind and body to respond in a protective manner to keep you safe. Through awareness, you can begin to shift unsupportive and unconscious patterns and move from a defence response to a healing response in your mind and body.

STAGE 2: SELF-REGULATION

Next we explore how to settle your nervous system through supportive practices including breath work, HeartMath and vagal nerve toning.

STAGE 1: FUNCTIONAL FOUNDATIONS

Here we address the foundational elements of environmental support: we optimise your gut and microbiome health through food, herbs and other nutritional supports, and ensure you have the right balance of exercise, sleep and immersion in nature.
